Guest guest
Kaletra warning Hi folks, Please be sure docs, case managers, and patients you know are aware that they should be taking a LOWER NUMBER of capsules/tablets with the new formulation. With the phased switchover to the new formulation, some docs/pharmd s are just duplicating the old frequency such as 3 bid (twice a day) or even 4 twice a day if taken with a drug that lowers the blood level of Kaletra. I haven't seen an official guidance on how to dose-adjust if you're taking an NNRTI with Kaletra, but the new dose SHOULD NOT be 4 bid! PLEASE spread the word on this so we don't have people with bad side effects. Bob -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
