Guest guest
Yes,thanx for pointing out the location of that Bangla. Me and Seema used to escort Nutan Pai('83),sometimes,when she had moved into that place. I would really not like the night scenario, when there would be a huge space of darkness right in front of that bangla overlooking our cricket ground and with winds howling on windy nights, the scene would be very scary.Plus with no light connecting that narrow Pagdandi from Gynae wards to the house,I was not sure,if anybody should really be walking at nights and some yrs ago,I had heard that Prof.Chabbra, had a snakebite when she was coming down that road, made my fears true. I congratulate u and others who stayed put for the whole of PGship,in that house and STILL MANAGE TO STUDY. Shyam(84).
Guest guest
par dekho, we were all married at that stage (Poonam, Nanda, Nutan and me). So in a way it suited us fine to be at the bhoot bangla as XY chromosomes were allowed then. I remember once the fuse had blown, LP (my hubby) and shivkumar decided to open the fuse box and hey presto there was a snake in it! got the watchman from the house nearby to deal with it. but it is still a story to remember..... then there was a lecturer called Tripti Sharma who kind of came and went as lecturers do in Gynae... She hadpoed the kitchen and we could not access it, but all part of the game. When Ms Chhabra was away she used to leave her keys with us and we could watch TV. A luxury. does bring back memories... cheers Malini With regards L / M Prasad lp1960@...
