Guest guest
Sometimes less is more. When I took Wellbutrin XL, I went on way too much and it shot my anxiety through the roof and gave me impotence at the worst possible time. I heard of a doctor who gave as little as 37.5 of the immediate release to people. > > > > > > > > > > it's been about 5 days on wellbutrin sr 100mg, and (aside > from > > the > > > > > first day of feeling occasionally dizzy and couldn't think > > > > clearly), > > > > > i can see at least some benefits. > > > > > First of all, having looked up all the potential side effects > > > > online > > > > > and reactions from other people thats taken wellbutrin, i > > decided > > > > to > > > > > take the pill but with other things to counteract the bad > side > > > > > effects. my 'weapon of choice' was taking regular intervals > of > > > > ginko > > > > > biloba 3x/day (for potential memory loss or affect on > > cognition) > > > > > PLUS eatting alot of honey ginger slices that my mom, for > some > > > > > reason, bought months ago (to counteract nausea and > suppressed > > > > > appetite). Guest guest
I think too much WB would definitely be bad. It affects serotonin at high doses too, which probably doesn't help. Actually, I just started it yesterday but at a tiny dose of 9.375 mg/day (an eighth of a 75 mg tablet!). I want to see how I react to the drug at increasing doses, and will ony increase at 9.375 qd increments per week. I'm hoping to see an effect in the 25 - 50 mg range, but we'll see. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > it's been about 5 days on wellbutrin sr 100mg, and (aside > > > from > > > > the > > > > > > > first day of feeling occasionally dizzy and couldn't think > > > > > > clearly), > > > > > > > i can see at least some benefits. > > > > > > > First of all, having looked up all the potential side > effects > > > > > > online > > > > > > > and reactions from other people thats taken wellbutrin, i > > > > decided > > > > > > to > > > > > > > take the pill but with other things to counteract the bad > > > side > > > > > > > effects. my 'weapon of choice' was taking regular > intervals > > > of > > > > > > ginko > > > > > > > biloba 3x/day (for potential memory loss or affect on > > > > cognition) > > > > > > > PLUS eatting alot of honey ginger slices that my mom, for > > > some > > > > > > > reason, bought months ago (to counteract nausea and > > > suppressed > > > > > > > appetite). Guest guest
Wow, did you get that dose specially made? I imagine you're not cutting the tablet into eighths. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > it's been about 5 days on wellbutrin sr 100mg, and > (aside > > > > from > > > > > the > > > > > > > > first day of feeling occasionally dizzy and couldn't > think > > > > > > > clearly), > > > > > > > > i can see at least some benefits. > > > > > > > > First of all, having looked up all the potential side > > effects > > > > > > > online > > > > > > > > and reactions from other people thats taken > wellbutrin, i > > > > > decided > > > > > > > to > > > > > > > > take the pill but with other things to counteract the > bad > > > > side > > > > > > > > effects. my 'weapon of choice' was taking regular > > intervals > > > > of > > > > > > > ginko > > > > > > > > biloba 3x/day (for potential memory loss or affect on > > > > > cognition) > > > > > > > > PLUS eatting alot of honey ginger slices that my mom, > for > > > > some > > > > > > > > reason, bought months ago (to counteract nausea and > > > > suppressed > > > > > > > > appetite). Guest guest
That's interesting. I'm hoping I see an effect in a similar dose range. > I heard of a doctor who gave as little as 37.5 of the immediate > release to people.
Guest guest
No, I really did cut into eighths! It was my obsessive-compulsive type personality that got me into this mess in the first place, so I might as well try to make some good use of it. Ha ha. Guest guest
> Anyone else thinking of trying wb? I'm not sure what else to do >after emsam. I don't think 'natural' remedies are going to help me >much. I'm not so sure about that. I was in a similar situation as yourself in that my penis/testicles felt totally dead prior to Emsam, and even worse during treatment. My penis in its flaccid state didn't hang at all and my testicles appeared smaller. After only a couple of weeks on Alpha GPC and Huperzine, my genitals feel more alive than they've been in quite some time. Granted I've seen minimal (if any) improvement in libido but it's a step in the right direction for once. Maybe you should try that in addition to low dose WB. I would give Emsam a couple weeks to flush out of your system before trying something else though. Just some friendly advice...
