Hi everyone!

I know it's been a while since I have dropped a line. Just had to share some

exciting news. Trinity who will be 19 months tomorrow took her first steps last

nite. We were very excited, since she has been standing up in the middle of the

floor for the last few weeks.

is doing well at being big brother, by knocking her over and steam rolling

her. He is out for the summer, and will return next month starting the 4 year

old class. During the esy he got bit a bunch of times in the arm while riding

home on the bus. Poor guy, had to be on antibiotics. We are also getting ready

for the Step Up for Ds walk in Sacramento, Buddy Walk for everyone else. We are

again Twice as Nice. If anyone is interested in helping out a family in the

Sacramento area trying to bring home a little girl from Ukraine via Reece's

Rainbow I have enclosed this link. We came across this family at a park nearby

and made a chance encounter. A man was singing on stage and we were immediately

drawn to listen as the words in his song were so touching and close to home.

Next to him was his wife holding there one year old daughter Chloe, he sang

Chloe's song. She was a cute little girl with Ds. I had take out of

the stroller so they could see him and then afterwards made our way to meet

them. We introduced them to and Trinity. Wew parted ways after talking

knowing that we would run into them again at the walk. I saw them again last

week on TV showing them having a yard sale fundraiser to help bring Chloe home.

Knowing it was a little far I just found them on Reece's rainbow and donated. It

just felt right.
