Guest guest
Norm, I remember also that Dr. Kaiser choose at least one of these meds, d4t, I believe, as part of first line treatment from his talks in seminars. I'm not positive what year that was, but he gave the talk in Portland, Oregon. Did we really know in 2002-2003 the damage that these drugs did to the mitochondria? Were d4t or ddi drugs suspect in anyway relating to lipoatrophy or lipodystrophy back then? I don't remember him addressing it back then in his seminars. >>>Dr Jon Kaiser had his patients on a d4T and ddI regimen in 2002 through2003? What is wrong with him? One of the main reasons for d4T was because the study was funded by BMS and they were looking for people using the drug who had neuropathy to see if the intervention could help alleviate it. I believe that's been mentioned before. I was in a VERY grumpy mood this AM. I'm sorry for cussing at folks. If you don't want to do antioxidants, by all means don't. M.
