Thanks Heidi and Doug. When I have found myself irritated about doing the work... For example: when I know I'm running a story that is bringing me pain and confusion... so I tell myself... " I should do the work on this " ... and then I pout about " having to do the work " ... like it's a punishment or chore... Yes, that absolutely gets in the way of knowing the truth. It's the awareness of needing to quiet the mind, go deep, be still, wait for the answers to come... seek the truth, honestly... which lifts this work out of " strategy " and " religious doctrine " or " practice " ... and into ... I don't know how to name it... I suppose: a way, a path... to access myself, the Goddess (how I " see " the infinite spirit), peace... truth. And yes, traipsing through the four questions... " spitting out " the expected answers... what you " know " you're " supposed " to say... removes us from ourselves and our own business... in a very subtle and easily unacknowledged way. This is a wonderful reminder to stay present and aware. In gratitude, Sonya
