Scientists Gather To Discuss Vaccine-Autism Link AUTISM CANADA FOUNDATION CALLS ON HEALTH CANADA TO BAN USE OF THIMEROSOL IMMEDIATELY. Washington, D.C. – Health experts gathered today to present further proof of a link between vaccinations and childhood brain disorder. Dozens of doctors, government officials and researchers were on hand to listen and present information to the Institute Of Medicine at the ninth meeting of the Immunization Safety Review Committee, held at the National Academy of Sciences building in Washington, D.C. The committee heard evidence from prominent scientists that strongly linked thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative found in common vaccines, to neurological disorders such as autism, a disease that afflicts over 1 in 250 Canadian children. Despite the growing chorus of international experts speaking out against thimerosal, Health Canada continues to ignore the problem by erroneously stating that there "is no evidence that the presence of thimerasol in vaccines given appropriately has caused brain damage in any child." The Autism Canada Foundation calls on policy makers to immediately ban the use of thimerosal and initiate a public inquiry into its affects. Opening remarks at the conference were given by Congressman Dave Weldon, M.D. (R-FL). Weldon expressed his frustration with the growing relationship between government health agencies and pharmaceutical corporations and called for a redoubling of research efforts into links between thimerosal and autism. "The (Centers for Disease Control And Prevention) is tasked with promoting vaccination, ensuring high vaccination rates, and monitoring the safety of vaccines. They serve as their own watchdog – neither common nor desirable when seeking unbiased research. This has been a recipe for disaster with other agencies," said Weldon in a statement. Representatives of the Autism Canada Foundation were also present during the meeting in Washington. The Autism Canada Foundation was inspired by a group of parents with a common objective; To help find a cause and a cure for autism. We support research for the underlying cause of autism. We aim to shift the paradigm of how we approach the treatment of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, not live within it. More information about our organization can be found at http://www.autismcanada.org. Guest guest
Hi Pam, do you have word or another similar program? Just highlight all the text, copy and paste it into the program, highlight it again and change the font size. That should work easily enough.
