Guest guest
Well, after one day of trying to eat this way, I have a splitting headache, I've been starving all day, and all I can think about is food. Looks like this is not a diet I will be albe to stick to long term. I don't have too much trouble doing a 40/30/30 diet overall, but the zone wants each meal to be this ratio..and it seems with as little bread as possible. It is a very healthy diet, but difficult to manage for each and every bite of food!!! I think I'll just keep it to my overall calorie intake being this ratio. My goal was to eliminate my cravings, and just monitoring overall calorie ratio does seem to help with that. But when I spend so much energy working out the meals, I have none left over to exercise. I felt a whole lot better when I concentrated more on exercise than obsessing over every bite of food and whether it had exactly the right ratio of nutrients. Any other veterans of the 40/30/30 got any advice or suggestions?? Thanks, kristen
