A question to all, I have my son in a catholic school in RI, we live about 2 miles away in MA, first do I have the right to have the school follow his IEP when he gets one, and also is there a differnce between catholic school, and private school? Can these differences let the catholic school have their own rules

Private schools do NOT have to follow the IEP since they do not get government funding. A Catholic school comes under this category. However, some of them might want to help students with learning problems and other problems. They however do not have to do so legally. This is *Why* we have public schools, and why my son goes to one, or else I would elect to send him to a Christian school for sure.
