Guest guest
I also list prices. I like the website to take some of the phone call pressure off me. However, I get calls and emails from my website all the time where people ask how much my pumps are, even though it is clearly there on the website! Guest guest
I list prices too. I personally dislike it when rates are not listed on other types of sites I visit. I think listing rates makes it clear for parents and reduces calls that are just inquires about fees. Also, I think a sense of transparency is comforting to people. Who wants surprises when it comes to money? I enjoy viewing all of your sites! I love how they are all unique! My site is always a work in progress too… www.lunalactation.com Cole

Guest guest
I don't list prices... I used to though. Since I stopped I have gotten more clients. My guess was that people 1. weren't realizing that IBCLCs were worth the money (and I educated them otherwise over the phone) and 2. didn't realize that I could offer them assistance in getting insurance reimbursement even though I stated that in my website. I have also found it to be handy to show my email address but state on my site that I prefer people call than email. Emailers usually expect you to spend your day answering their 101 breastfeeding questions individually and further, they never end up making appointments. Clients who phoned me were always the more serious ones. They called, made an appointment, simple. So I encourage people to just call me, or email me their number so I can call them. www.mamababyblossom.com > > > > > > > How many of you have webpages set up for your business , Do you list > > prices? A mother will call and try to get in as many questions as she can before I get the chance to say, " Whoa! I really need to SEE what is happening, get a complete history and so on, before we can determine the cause of your concerns. " OTOH, in an email I can say this right off the bat.normaNorma Ritter, IBCLC, RLCBreastfeeding Matters in the Capital Regionwww.NormaRitter.com Join us on Facebook for the latest birthing and breastfeeding news and views:http://tinyurl.com/BMCRonFB

Guest guest
i list prices though i don't really have people finding me online, it is more to refer them to for doula prices, etc. however, i list prices because personally, i skip all websites that do not list prices. if you can't tell me your fee online, i keep looking until i find someone who does. and this is for anything really. the whole reason i am online looking is i don't feel like sitting on the phone calling around so i want as much info as i can get online. pam mazzelladibosco, ibclc, rlc
