Guest guest Posted March 9, 2007 Report Share Posted March 9, 2007 Jayne, sorry, after I wrote the last post, I went back and read where you had responded already! anyway, thank you for asking about , he is getting taller and is still 56 or so lbs.(still blonde like !) he growls deep sometimes and sometimes the growling is non stop, especially when he is stimming with his jump roap. It seems it is always worse after meals. he is taking previcid and miralax, he is doing better than he was, I think, with the previcid, but still all or nothing with bms. We tried the gfcf diet, and then a stricter one per the DAN doc. for many months(last time about a yr. ago) and have tryed it in the past, (maybe when he was about 4yrs. old) sometimes I wish I would have kept him on it just to know if things would have been better.(I did not notice an overall improvement) when he got off of it, he never regressed right away. (he is better behavior wise now) he has had the biopsy to rule out celiac and had the gene test that said he was not celiac. Jayne, thinking of you, I pray you will get good drs. to advise you and it really is doable but it helps to have a dr. on board with you.(so many different opinions out there) Isnt it hard to make these choices for our kids? how is his thyroid doing? anyway, let us know how it goes, you will make a good choice I am sure!!
