Hi ALL,

The Rumor mill is going full blast, and Those who want S-1248 are pulling no punches. The parents had a big affect in DC and those who thought they could control us or keep us in check are feeling the heat. They cannot automatically give us H-1350 and this is NOT on party lines or all the Democrats would be voting no and all the Republicans would be voting yes - Neither is the case. People have lost their jobs, reputations, services for their kids (retaliation for going to DC), and some have been threatened. Do not fail what they have made a stand for. These same things were done in ('97), and some did not survive the fight. This is not the time to cave in. WE are ALL in a position of strength. Why else would they be so worked up. This is for the whole thing, now or never. Do we want to fight this for thirty more years? WE can change this-DO not give up AND I do not want to be drug away KICKING. Yelling and SCREAMING if this is passed. We parents and Advocates will not have any leverage if this is passed AND OUR KIDS will suffer, and may never forgive us. I [WE] HAVE NOT YET BEGAN TO FIGHT(JPJ) Make our past Leaders proud they fought the Revolution, our fathers mothers and grandparents died for our rights. Do not let threats defer you, do not become members of the oppressed. Our writers of the Constitution warned that all Governments can become oppressive in the name of protecting and serving the people when they grow to big and unconnected. If they were right then, then they are still right.
