Guest guest
I just wanted to add my two cents about managing work and home. I have 7 kids, ages 15-4 months, and I work every morning. Kids in Israel come home at 1:15, so it is very challenging! I do housecalls, so what I find is my lifesaver is my cellphone and bluetooth. I have usually an hour drive each way to housecalls, although I do group two together in the same place- but all follow ups get done either on the way to work, or the way home. This way, the commute does not feel like a waste of time, and I also follow up closely with moms. I usually call within one day of seeing the mother, and then depending on the situation pretty often after that. I will answer calls after that just to schedule the next days appointments. This works for me, besides my big cellphone bill, which I just chalk up to a business expense. I am enjoying hearing what others do..
