GUYS THIS TIME IS MY TURN TO BE DOWN...

I will be lurking for a while, just don't have any spunk or support to give

to anybody, I'm deeply hurt about what I heard from my bosses. My contract

ends tomorrow and I send e-mails, left messages and my boss ignore them and

didn't give me a respond. I called my company and they also yelled at me

and told me that they do left messages and didn't want to speak to me.

Finally, around 11:30 am I went to ask somebody from Personnel (who has no

clue about renewing contracts) to check on my status. She came back and

told me that paper work has began, well thank you but why didn't I get an

e-mail. Also, another man from Finance came to see my co-worker who is also

my other boss and told her " poor Montserrat, she doesn't know if she's gone

or not tomorrow " . My boss ignored his comments and he said to her " you

seemed like you don't care " , she said " if she goes, she goes, not my

problem " . He also said, " why didn't she get Equity Pay like us " (everyone

got $15,000), and she said " that is not by problem, she's not one of us " .

When I heard this I ran to the bathroom and started to cry. I came back and

my boss said, " keep working on the database, translation, babysit my

database " since there is nothing to do. Last night everyone came to

complain to me about my co-worker because she didn't finished their work.

Yes, of course, she takes all the work and doesn't share NOTHING. I'm so

discouraged and sad, boy life stinks so much. Sorry to throw all this at

you guys, anyways, I'll just be lurking here and there....Take care

I am so sorry you are having such a horrible day! It really stinks

that your superiors could be so cruel and show such a lack of

caring! That really stinks! And I'm sure it makes you feel like you

have no one to talk to about any of it! I hope that you are able to

find another job! You definitely don't need to be around that kind

of insensitivity! You will be in my thoughts and I am sending you a

big hug

I'm so sorry things are bad for you.

I don't know what to say, I'll be thinking of you and hoping that

something better is in the future for you, and that you have friends

here who care about you.

In my life I often wonder if these bad 'events' come along to kick me

in the pants and actually make me take stock of my life and see if it

is really what I want, because I get very complacent about it and

it's ususally been something like this that has spurred me on to do

other things, that have more often than not turned out to be better.
