Should you stop vitamin D for a few days prior to completing the test or just continue taking supps as normal? x

Your mail was sent from heaven, perfect, GP ordered it for me and path lab threw away sample said its a cost cutting exercise and after I ran all the way after I was stuck as they said it had to be there in 20 mins of being drawn - grhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Can test Tom also who is currently diving into major episode of S.A.D.

Just in case anyone is interested in testing their vitamin D levels, you can order one for £20 from here:

http://www.vitamindtest.org.uk/

You can do it at home with a lancet, doesn't hurt and I managed to do both my small children fairly easily.
