Guest guest
Oh Patty, I so feel your pain! Nothin' worse than constantly smelling poop! I'm a nut about that stuff. There is this stuff you can get at either Toys 'r Us or sometimes Walmart has it in their baby section - the name is escaping me right now cuz I'm out of it. It's a white spray bottle with a pink and blue label.... " Toddler ??? " Cyndi - help me out, I know you know what it's called, you told me about it! Um, it will probably come to me.... But, when we do figure it out - it does work. It really takes that nasty smell of poop out of the carpets, etc... I'll keep trying to think of it and I'll write back. Hang in there! Well, I was reading that all with the fear of I knowing someday he's going to start that. Well, the day has arrived. He's driving me nuts. As soon as he's alone he takes off his pants and his diaper and then there is poop all over -- it's so gross and I'm tired of cleaning carpets. Which leads me to my question. Someone used a product they swore by to clean up the mess and take away the odor. I just can't seem to find that old post. I put him in his one piece Spider Man Halloween costume tonight so he couldn't get it off. He was confused -- but I had to cook dinner and couldn't w atch him. Guest guest
Odo Ban is sold at Sam's Club by the gallon. I bought some when we started toilet training Pete. You can diltue it a lot. I like that you can disinfect with it when you can't use bleach to disinfect. (I have used it in the laundry per the directions on the bottle. It neutralizes odors, not just masks them.) It has a fresh smell, and I even put it in a small bottle to keep in the car for accidents. Good luck with the toilet training. Just keep at it as faithfully as you can. Consistency is a big help if you are able to do so. Using things like restrictive clothing IS a big help, and a lot of folks have done that. But I considered Odo Ban an important tool in my kit. Keep us posted! Guest guest
Thanks guys. I'll have to try it. And also, pick him up some one piece pajama's. Ugh.... I'm just wondering how long this fun-ness is going to last. Does anyone know if by taking off his pants and diapers means that he is closer to being potty trained? I know he doesn't want them on, but he still doesn't have a clue about going when he's supposed to go. He loves to sit on the toilet so he can twirl the toilet paper around and around and around. I've finally stopped letting him have it and make him do what he's supposed to do there. Anyhow, thanks for the product names. Wish us luck.
