Guest guest
Hi, Everyone.....Jessi.....prayers coming your way on the 'new' dx for Danial. It's hard.....we have all been there, but that dx will open so many needed doors for Danial that you wouldn't get with just the DS dx. Autism will be his primary dx now....don't let the schools tell you otherwise, either. That is the dx that will cause the most problems in school......sensory, learning, behavioral, etc. He's only 3.....he's got so much ahead of him as far as learning, etc, and they have come up with so many new treatments for autism....something that many of us with the older kids never had available. Do not give up on him........our kids can do so much if they get the right learning environment/teachers, etc. Gareth is a senior and very aware of the fact that he is graduating this year and going on to 'college' next Sept. Granted, it's PSU's Lifelink program, but it is still college to him and he is VERY proud of that. Take care, Everyone. Margaret
