I have a child with DS and Autism... we are only max 4 hr from Savannah. Most of the time, there are stipends or scholarships to help pay for it. I guess this is all depends who is sponsoring having Dr. Carbone. If the school district/Educational center are into ABA, they could probably also help pay for it too or at a discount. Just wanted to mention several options if they are available before spending out of pocket. I would say it was well worth it! I was really fascinated/in a trance learning about ABA and the videos he had shown were incredible. I ended up audio-taping it, this was allowed just not video taping it. Its great to reflect to what he has to share along with the handouts as it can be pretty overwhelming if your new to this. I really enjoyed attending to this wonderful 3 day conference.
