Anyone know or have a child with nervous tic/tic?

Christmas night... 4 1/2yr started with a twitch on the right side of his

mouth and eye.It is not getting better. Of all things this is such a worry to

me. I know in time we all we adjust.

We stopped the Reglan last month due to twitches in the eyes. Now off that a

month. Done well. Within 2 days of new cough med(duratuss-DM 12) he started back

on the eye twitch and the tic in the mouth. I stopped it....Christmas day night

he gotten worse. I took him to the Dr office yesterday. He was not concern. Said

it was a nervous tic but would refer us to a neuro to make sure.

Granted a month ago we had a EEG it was 'normal'. I had people and read that

they can be false.

The dr told me it can be up to 2 months getting a appt. They will call after

first of yr to get a appt. I called yesterday (neuro he referring us too) the

girl there was RUDE and said Your Dr has to make the appt. I feel the Neuro is

going to be a real ass. NOT sure I want them treating my son since they are

rude! I know the neuro (he was our ped before going back to school) was he good

ped.. YES... Have I seen him as a neuro..yes is he great... not like he was. I

just lost what to do. I hate being torn and worrying what and why set it off? Is

it seizures they are over looking.

Reason I say this, sleeps some days a average 15-17 hrs a day. If he has

a real good day he may only sleep 13hrs a day. I guess I need to keep a diary.

Add it to the list I need to do!

... overwhelmed mom to 13yr,Dayton 8yr, 4yr
