Liz,

So glad you made it through - good for you! So glad you have an answer so

quickly too.

So T & A surgery is in the future, make sure you make it an overnight surgery

- not a same day.

Good luck with that bath and nap. sends his love to Tori, he's

overdue for his sleep study, we had to cancel twice in Virginia and just haven't

had time to make it a priority here. His Apnea hasn't been as bad too, I have

him sleeping propped with two pillows and somehow that's making a difference but

maybe not! LOL!

Happy Happy joy joy you made it.

Take care,

Jayne

Here we are...a very exhausted Mommy and a tired, sticky haired little

girl.

Tori had her sleep study last night and all went much better than we

anticipated. We went into the hospital at 7:30 and gave her her Melatonin. She

was fast asleep by 8 and at 9 the tech came in to start hooking her up. It took

about 2 hours to get all the leads (26 of them) on her (she kept stirring and

talking). I was able to lay down with her and had to try to keep her from

ripping the leads off (especially her face/head) and oh, yeah.. the oxygen

sensor on her toe-she HATES that thing.

Anyway, she woke up several times and was almost wide awake at 3 a.m. They need

atleast a 6 hour read to get what they need and it had only been 3.5 hours. So

we had some more melatonin. Thank God for Melatonin! She slept real well after

that and they got a great reading. The leads were removed at 6:30 a.m. Well,

then Mom and Tori fell fast asleep again until they paged us that the Dr. was

ready to see us!

Well, needless to say, she definitely has Sleep Apnea and he feels it most

likely are her tonsils/adenoids causing the problem. Her saturation rate dropped

several times as well. Anyway, he will be sending the report out to her Drs. and

we will take it from there. Hopefully, once these are removed, she will sleep

more peacefully (Mommy, too!) and her behaviors will improve!

Anyway, I am now trying to convince her that after she takes a bath to get rid

of the stickies in her hair, we could lay down in Mommy's bed and take a nap!

Yeah, right!!! =)
