Guest guest
and all my friends on this list-- I appreciate your concerns. No, I am not lost, just overwhelmed with a difficult school district, an IEP team meeting just before the holiday and a houseful of older daughters, husbands and grandkids for the holidays. I took a needed vacation from anything not really urgent - including the internet. Am catching up on all the news... Congratulations, Donna, on that new grandbaby! What a blessing. Will enjoy hearing more about little Grayson. We still use a wheelchair with our son, DJ, for long walks like the state fair, mall, etc. He has a heart condition so we always attributed his " stop, drop & flop " to that for years before accepting there might be other reasons for his reticence to walk far. After reading about Gareth, Margaret, I am glad we chose to utilize a wheelchair. Poor muscle tone can really lead to other complications in later years! We have used both a " Kid Kart " and a Zippie wheelchair. High recommendations for both, though the " Kid Kart " is for smaller people, under age 9. It's late here and I'm getting groggy! Happy New Year to all! Your friendship makes 2007 so much brighter! Hugs, Donnell (mom to DJ, age 11) Soracco wrote: Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing well and having a good weekend! Is it just me, or have we not seen Donnell post lately? I hope she's okay!
