These past few days have opened my EYES wide

Tori is still having trouble at school. Transitioning from the bus to the

building, to the classroom, to library, to gym. She is stop-drop & flopping and

getting more aggressive. I think my idea to keep her included as much as

possible is back firing. I just think it is too much for her to handle. She is

learning really well, but academics is usually done 1:1. She is reading about

26 words since Sept., but these behaviors are killing her ( & me). We have a

meeting scheduled for 12/22 to discuss matters with the SD and her Support Team.

Please know, they are not the ones pushing the issue. We love them!

I think subbing in the Autistic Support classroom these past few days have

opened my EYES wide and I now feel that I am asking too much of her and a

smaller, less stimulating environment might serve her better.
