Guest guest
Without disrupting Elie's normal school routine, the school should recognize that your family does not celebrate Christmas and instead, they should bring in a sub or another teacher for Elie so that he can continue with his day. That would be the best way to approach this without having to have him skip school and lose a day's worth of education.
