Guest guest
<<Are they still saying Gareth has scleroderma from the blood tests even thought it didn’t sound like they found it today? Did they do a biopsy, would that show scleroderma?>> Hi, Everyone.....Louise.....The doc said nothing looked like scleroderma but the bulging esophagus would not cause the high sed rate, so his comment is still wait and talk to the rheum doc about it at the end of the month. There are definitive changes for scleroderma on the esophagus/stomach and he did not have them. He did scattered, random bx's but nothing stuck out warranting any in any area of the esoph., stomach or small intestine. <<Now for goodness sake get off the computer and stop researching. God can take it from here and you need some rest. (Great advice I know I'd be allover the internet lookin for answers too:-) Sherry>> Sherry.....isn't this fantastic, though!!! Before you had to get into your car and drive to the library!!! Now you just Google a couple words and 'voila' ......you have 100's of reading materials to go to. Besides, he was dozing on the couch and I couldn't run the vacuum!!! Take care, Everyone. Margaret
