Hi all,I've been following the posts on tongue-tie with great interest. I have seen too many of these and feeling frustrated by pediatrians who do not recognize anything other than a Type 1. I really have to push parents to see an ENT - fortunately, we have some in our area that recognize PTT and will release them. (fwiw - I never use the term "clip" anymore with parents - I use the word release - I find that they 'shut down' much less frequently when I explain the procedure.)I attended a lecture in January given by a pediatrician who discussed ankyloglossia and frenotomies. I'm including his references so you can use them if you need to. I also looked online and found many references on wikipedia:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AnkyloglossiaAnd this
