Judi_ So why the trip to ER? I used to live in Hershey, but aren't there

ER's other than Hershey to go to? Where are you an hour from HErshey??

I was rather blind-sided by this Santa thing. No, Elie graduates this year

so that is part of why I optef to keep him home rather than make a fuss.

BUT - Elie haas his own ideas. When I didn't wake him up this morning, he

got up, got dressed, let the dog out, and informed me that " We missed the

bus. Mommy Daddy drive. Go to school now. I will take him FTEr the Santa

thing in time for lunch.

Sara - Choose to make lemonade, not complain about the lemons.

My mom lives in Cockeysville :-) I hung out at the pool hall there when I

was in my late teens/early 20's. Where is the clothing store, out of

curiosity? I had to drive down there yesterday to pick Jordan up, as she

didn't go to school because of the emergency on Monday.

Jordan was born in MD at the Univ. of MD Med. Ctr in Baltimore. The gals in

the NICU were great and PT was started on her at 10 days old. They told me

to take receiving blankets, roll them up and tuck them up along the sides of

her legs and under her knees to keep her pelvis and hip joints straight. It

worked and we did this every time she was sleeping. I wish more people knew

about this, as our kids do have problems with their hip joints as they get

older because of the flexibility there. Jordan doesn't have a " gait "

because of the blankets that were used. We haven't had PT services now for

three years because she does really well in gym class. OT and Speech are

the only two therapies that she's currently getting. I may entertain the

thought of aquatic therapy once the weather gets warmer, as she's starting

to feel more comfortable in water. (I think having a pool for the last

three years has helped out a lot)
