I recommend this as a good resource if you have a child in middle school

(getting ready for a future) or secondary ed (going through transition)

-wouldn't hurt to visit if you have a little one too.setting future goals of

employment and independence.You may want to consider subscribing to their

announcements. They often have webcasts and information of a national

perspective.

This website is the hub for 3 telework projects funded by the Office of

Disability Employment Policy, Department of Labor. The website includes

information about the Telework Initiative, an overview of ODEP's projects,

their Telework research as well as resources for building a competitive edge

- including recent preliminary research findings.

On the homepage, you may enter the site as a " Job Seeker " or an " Employer. "

Both paths provide information about telework, resources, success stories,

and a link to the " Resume Bank. " This is where job seekers and employers can

merge to seek one another out and make telecommuting a reality!

Announcing VCU Center for Rehabilitation Science and Engineering (CERSE)

CERSE is a close partnership of the VCU Schools of Medicine, Allied Health,

Engineering, Education, and the Virginia Department of Rehabilitative

Services (DRS). The CERSE director is Dr. X. Cifu, chair of the

Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The mission is to foster

interdisciplinary rehabilitation research across the lifespan through

careful coordination and consolidation of VCU's significant scientific and

educational capacities in the rehabilitation arena. CERSE is comprised of

six Research/Training Cores, each building on existing rehabilitation

research and training strengths at VCU. The cores include Rehabilitation of

Neurological Illness and Injury, Rehabilitation Engineering, Vocational

Rehabilitation, Health and Human Performance, Children and Disability, and
