I just got half way through reading your message and had that " warm, fuzzy, our children are angels from above, and we are blessed to have them feeling " , and I heard an explosion in the tub. Went into to see my little Mikey sitting in a tub full of poop!! And I just had to laugh and say to myself, " Oh yeah, I'm blessed " !!! Life is fun! I just HATE to come into the bathroom sitting in a tub full of poop! That happens at least once a week. A number of times we've come in to see poop all over the walls of her room and floor. Last night it was all in her PJ's. I remember a poop discussion here awhile back. A boost to those of you dealing....it DOES go away. I swear, I thought Maddie would ALWAYS poop in the tub. It did stop. She's finally potty trained (although with a few accidents a week......it's a hoot.....if she can't get good enough leverage, she gets off the toilet and squats on the floor....Lovely). Guest guest
We are equally blessed with the poop. Janie takes off her pullup and uses all her socks and shirts to clean herself up. Then the hands and clothes go everywhere. She does the tub too. P. > > > In a message dated 12/13/2006 3:43:59 P.M. At least I wasn't mistaking for saying something really offensive. That happened to me on other group. I responded to the offense and in turn someone else thought I was the original poster and blasted me big time. It left a sore taste in my mouth for that poster who I thought I had a decent on line relationship with. Actually I knew that person casually in real life which made it even worse. Blessings, W in CT Hey , Anytime...... actually, I'm getting rather sick and tired of Mikey's messes. He's going through a stage where he won't keep his diaper on. Ugh. So sorry that happened to you on the other site. I know how that is --- my feelings get hurt very easily and I would probably react the same way. Hope things are better with that situation. And by the way... I'm reading about the home schooling topic, and I have to say that I give you mom's (and Dad's) all the credit in the world for doing what your doing. It's amazing to me that you can do all that it takes to put into a home school program and still run a household, and still keep your sanity. God bless you guys who do this. Blessing to you too. I would be so ready to be institutionalized if that happened. She wakes so often as it is. At least now she is content to suck on a bottle asI hold her and pat her back and rock my body. I used to have to get up and rock her or put her in a blanket and swing her between my legs. She is like a fish out of water, wrestling, moving around, banging her head. It is like she isn't comfortable in her own skin. I also know that part of this is the Fetal Alcohol Syndrome - from what I understand almost all of these children have sleep issues. They never fall into rem sleep. I did tell the naturopath that I am like a walking zombie some days and I am going to have to do something so I do not loss it. He suggested giving her ..5 mg if I wantto try thge melatonin. My dh has off the week after Christmas so I will wait until he is around and doesn't have to work. This way if she does have a weird reaction and it does stimulate her at least he will take the children in the morning and I will sleep then. Until then I will just put on another pot of coffee and remember that she is an angel, she is an angel, she is an angel................. Guest guest
Our son has sleep issues too. What has really helped us is giving him Melatonin each evening before bed. He gets 1 milligram. This is something that you can find OTC at any pharmacy and even Walmart or Kmart. I take it too, because I have problems sleeping quite often. I found this info on the Internet & his DR's approved. Re: Xmas is a coming - but so is Hanukah In a message dated 12/11/2006 10:49:02 P.M.
