Yeast, Inflammation and Colonoscopy

We've not yet had the formal review of 's colonoscopy (it's next Friday) but I did see the snapshots of his colon (there were 4, I think).  I did not see any inflammation or yeast in the pictures - I know that inflammation is reasonably obvious (and I've seen pictures before) but is yeast as well?  Wouldn't yeast be visible on the wall of the colon if it was there?

I've treated for yeast years ago but I never thought he had it and I'm just wondering if this confirms that suspicion?

Thanks,

Darla
