Guest guest
Nationwide Recall of 500mg Store-Brand Acetaminophen Caplets Many thyroid patients take pain relievers -- including acetominophen -- as a regular part of our daily medications, and so I wanted to make you aware of a large recall of this popular over-the-counter pain reliever. The FDA has just announced a voluntary recall being conducted by Perrigo Company, because some of the caplets reportedly contain small metal fragments. Perrigo manufactures acetominophen under various stores' brand names, including well-known outlets such as Albertson's, BJ's Wholesale, CVS, Eckerd, Food Lion, Kmart, Kroger, Meijer, PathMark, Piggly Wiggly, Publix, Safeway, WalMart, Winn Dixie -- among many others. The FDA estimates that as many as 11 million bottles of acetaminophen 500mg caplets are affected by this recall.
