What's going on with my son????

Hi, everyone,

for once this post isn't about , but my 11 and a half year old son,

. He has gotten soooo mouthy and just awful lately! Sometimes we ask him

to do something, he'll do it just fine. But a majority of the time, he either

won't do it or will backtalk us as to why or he'll do it but not without

stomping around. He just seems so angry all the time.

He brought home a progress report in two classes and one was a D. Now, this is

a kid with no problems, very intelligent, etc. THe D was because of several

assignments he hadn't even bothered to do. We had this discussion before

Christmas break because he had a C in one class that was brought down due to his

failure to turn in a huge 100 pt project I knew nothing about! He assured me

he'd do better and then this. I told him if I see another D, the Wii is going

bye-bye until May! He's always hated doing homework, but WHY all the anger??

The teachers aren't telling me when he misses assignments, despite my asking,

and even when I check the online site, they either don't post the homework or

the " o " s until it's too late.

Is this hormones or something else? I'm trying not to jump to conclusions, but

I worry about bipolar or something because my MIL has it, and after Jess with

OCD, well, what next?
