Described as peaking during high summer or autumn, it peaks sharply to high levels in the summer rather than any other time of the year. Larouse Medical for 1968 Fig 1541 Page 889 Strikingly, during the war years there was effectively no polio or no reports of polio in the summers. Is this a false trail or was the polio coming in on now blockaded goods and foods? But the biggest peak coming in 1943 after 4 years of nothing was striking. A complement to the winter flu? There are many ideas that the virus is NORMALLY benign and aggravated by a reduced immune system such as from excessive use of arsenic or the excessive use of DDT etc. Also many ideas that it is in all of us but under control. The summer peak makes one think of flies or mosquitoes both of which are seasonal according to the weather. France does have a summer mosquito problem in the area I am, Bretagne. In England I can never remember seeing one where I lived in the south. Reasons for France having mosquitoes? Maybe the habit here of having large stagnant areas of water in every village; perhaps dating back to days when water supplies might be difficult or for the fish they hold. It is difficult to imagine these mosquitoes do nothing as they do induce in some people reactions. And today there is a new terrible illness just beginning in the south that has been brought in from Africa/Indian Ocean countries. But the idea that polio levels peaked sharply is new to me and must have an explanation. Anyone any ideas, please? Or is like autism, like cancer, like epilepsy, like Alzheimer's. We don't have a clue, except don't look at dangerous -CIDAL chemicals and especially we know NEUROTOXIC mercury in vaccines cannot damage anything NEURONAL. Today, thankfully we don't have much polio due to the use of the vaccine. We do have an exact equivalent number of meningitis cases which rose as the polio numbers fell in an exact inverse relation. Modern medical science at its best outside of the SBS, MSBP expert earners who are the modern Witch Finders who have to have a part time medical job to justify their incredible psychic/medical ability in recognising HARMAS amongst the millions with identical symptoms sent out of hospital with identical clinical signs of no consequence until an adverse effect of a vaccine occurs and often without even the trouble of seeing the patient. Is man intelligent and do we still have NEURONAL cells to get damaged? Polio or MENINGITIS ADDENDUM Before posting took a little trouble to check and this is the first find: MENINGITIS -This virus is ACTIVE in the SUMMER and early FALL. Question: Is Meningitis Contagious? Answer: Meningitis is contagious. It can be spread by coming into contact with an infected person's respiratory secretions. Small children who are not yet toilet trained and their caretakers may also spread the virus. Not everyone who is infected with meningitis will actually get the disease. Therefore, it is not always obvious when you are at risk for infection. When it comes to personal hygiene, common sense can help prevent the spread of viral meningitis. This may include: washing hands often disinfecting surfaces with chlorine bleach mixed with water Because viral meningitis is caused by the enterovirus, it is important to note that this virus is active in the summer and early fall. And [Polio now hides behind these names: Transverse Myelitis, Viral or aseptic meningitis, Guillaine Barre Syndrome (GBS), Chinese Paralytic syndrome,CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME, epidemic cholera, cholera morbus, spinal meningitis, spinal apoplexy, inhibitory palsy, intermittent fever, famine fever, worm fever, bilious remittent fever, ergotism, ME, post-polio syndrome, acute flaccid paralysis Synonyms for GBS] Is this list complete? Consider: sackievirus and echoviruses can cause paralytic syndromes that are clinically indistinguishable from paralytic poliomyelitis. ( H. Menkes, Textbook Of Child Neurology, 5th ed., page 420) http://www3.bcity.com/harpub/ " Ralf R. Scobey, M.D., president of the Poliomyelitis Research Institute. Inc. Syracuse, New York (in the Archives of Pediatrics, Sept. 1950) lists 170 diseases of polio-like symptoms and effects but with different names such as: epidemic cholera, cholera morbus, spinal meningitis, spinal apoplexy, inhibitory palsy, intermittent fever, famine fever, worm fever, bilious remittent fever, ergotism, etc. There are also such common nutritional deficiency diseases as beriberi, scurvy, Asiatic plague, pellagra, prison edema, acidosis etc. " --E. McBean Not wishing to to disagree with the CDC, WHO about all this, it is pertinent to ask why haven't we got a vaccine for all these easily vaccinable conditions? Shouldn't we follow through on measles SINGLE vaccine and eliminate this as it does appear like SMALLPOX to be GENUINELY eradicable. Eradicating one illness of polio – none in France for many years (1939-1942) and now having more illnesses of the same ilk today plus everyone vaccinated makes polio vaccine look like either a placebo (ignoring SIDS, autism, SBS, MSBP possibly?) or a great success on the back of GENERALLY falling health in non infectious and infectious illness. The above quotes are from dubious sites. Dubious to you know who but not WHO or CDC. So here is what the CDC say: Straight from their … MOUTH. How common are infections with these viruses? Non-polio enteroviruses are very common. They are second only to the " common cold " viruses, the rhinoviruses, as the most common viral infectious agents in humans. The enteroviruses cause an estimated 10-15 million or more symptomatic infections a year in the United States. All three types of polioviruses have been eliminated from the Western Hemisphere, as well as Western Pacific and European regions, by the widespread use of vaccines. So no polio but just these little devils. But what are they? The CDC has already told us. What are enteroviruses? Enteroviruses are small viruses that are made of ribonucleic acid (RNA) and protein. This group includes the polioviruses, coxsackieviruses, echoviruses, and other enteroviruses. In addition to the three different polioviruses, there are over 60 types of non-polio enteroviruses that can cause disease in humans. Remember OFFITT and his 10 000's? So its like polio but not polio. Do you understand? So how come we stop polio with a vaccine but not something practically identical according to the great vacciners of the world? And of course those dubious recorders of fact have reported OFFICAIL government figures of all these non polio look alikes rising faster and further than polio is and was falling to ZERO. But dont forget that why is it polio/meningitis is so tied to high summer and early fall. THAT IS THE QUESTION
