You sure are a bunch of chatty kathys but that's why I luv ya! lol I'll share with you my little unplanned last minute trip to Delano from Phoenix. Man! That was no sunday drive in the park. Not real bad but long. My Mom and Dad sounded kinda down that my Mom had to stay in the hospital longer so we dumped my 12yr old and two of three dogs off on my sister-in-law and headed out to Delano. We stayed at the Shilo Inn because they took pets. They said the only non-smoking room they had left was on the 3 floor and they didn't have elevator. Soooo, we opted to stay on the first floor smoking. We have stayed in smoking rooms before but this one had a very pungent burnt smell. Not like from cigarettes but like there was a fire or something. The staff was very nice and helpful but the smell was awful! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
