Thanks for the info on cumarindine...must be an Alabama thing- we've got

strange stuff in Louisiana, but I haven't come across that one--- Do you have Dr

Tichenor's Antiseptic? Mix it 6 to 1 for mouthwash, full strength on bug bites,

and well at 70% alcohol, you could be in need of AA pretty soon. Betsy

Cumarindine- correct spelling....What it is

Cumarindine from Terrell Laboratories, Inc. in Altoona, Alabama, has been

providing quality skin treatments since our founding in 1934. It is our

mission to effectively heal and restore damaged skin. We believe the best way

to achieve this goal is to guarantee superior ingredients, quality

preparation and on-time delivery to you. How Cumarindine Began:The story of

Cumarindine is in great part the story of Malcolm and Ada Terrel, of Altoona,

Alabama, developers of the product. It is a story of hard work, patience,

testing and a dedication to the relief of suffering humanity. It is a story

of careful and technical development of a product by two humble people in a

small laboratory.Their first applications of the product were on animals. It

was sprayed on horses and mules which had galling sores on their shoulders

and backs. This experiment was successful. It was tested on cow’s udders

and

rot foot and this test was successful. It was applied to dogs with mange and

even the most serious cases were relieved and new hair grew where the

condition has been. One day Malcolm Terrell got badly burned and placed his

hand in the product until it stopped burning. To his amazement, there

wasn’t

even a blister. Malcolm and Ada carried the oil of Cumarindine and ointment

to the University of Alabama and secured the help of the late Dr. Jack

Montgomery, head of the Chemistry Department, Univ. of Ala., who analyzed the

product and suggested the name. For the past seventy years these products

are widely used in hospitals and clinics though out the southeastern United

States.

Ingredients:Cumarindine contains mineral pitch and processed caoutchouc,

sulfur, camphor, oil of cloves and oil of cinnamon in a petrolatum base. The

patented formula and high quality small batch mixing process makes this

treatment a super cure.NDC-29999-001-02Directions for Use:Apply liberal

amount of ointment directly to affected area or to gauze and place upon area

to be treated. Repeat as neededCaution:Keep out of reach of children. For

external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If undue skin irritation develops

or increases, discontinue use and consult a physician.
