How we need toxicologists like JW in 2011. Perhaps we can eliminate AUTISM? He knew what was the cause of acrodynia. It was ARSENIC. It wasn't, of course. He also found thallium poisoning cases in the local isolation hospital. But after a negative inorganic analysis in blood samples of acrodynia cases he found an expert in mercury analysis Dr D Hubbard who found large amounts of mercury in acrodynia children where people before had failed dismally. By eliminating mercury exposure this illness has now died out. But where would we be without JW? This illness had been endemic for a hundred years and nobody knew what caused it. Like autism we would still be arguing. In fact many still argue that mercury is NOT the cause of acrodynia. Nothing changes in nothing people. We dont have acrodynia but we do have LIARS casting doubt on CAUSATION. It took a man who knew what caused acrodynia, accepted negative evidence for arsenic but in extremis continued with heavy metal analysis to pin down the exact cause: MERCURY in teething powder, MERCURY in worming powder etc. Today, I fear such a persistant scientist would get the sack. He himself argues he would have the sack after two days working with vaccine scientists. They are too clever. I am just too daft he almost claims. He goes into one field and gets blown into another. Blames one thing and then finds its all wrong. Not so much daft as HONEST. He listens to what opens up before him and rejects what looks right but leads to disaster. Today, he would be treading on too many powerful and financial and professional toes. What do you need to be a scientist? He got it right I believe. In the main research consists of: THINKING. How do we remember this man who was showered with scientific prizes. Verstraeten who categorically has proved it is not MERCURY. A dozen others prove different. It is MERCURY. WHO is right? Amazing that the medical Big p'HARMA cling to the LIES of TV and his crew at the CDC who took five goes to get rid of the proof of MERCURY harm to an entire nation of one day infants from 1991 to 1999. COME BACK f Warkany ADDENDUM Before he did his work on acrodynia he had already helped to find out why RICKETS was cured by vitamin D: Spectacular cures of rickets. How did this occur. He had but one rabbit. But he found out WHY? Today we still havent found out WHY 900 000 cases of SBS occur every year mimicking Vitamin D deficiency?
