Guest guest
I grew up in Wyoming and visit yearly. Pearce lives there , she is active in vaccine safety and awareness. Wyoming has one of the biggest oil reserves in all of North America. Most work is oilfield. Wyoming has been very depressed for years. Dick Chaney is a resident of Wyo. and almost broke Wyoming when he moved out and took his oil business. That is Halliburton. Casper has the McMurray family that found the oil reserve. They put money back into the town with new parks on every block. It is fresh, and beautiful, however the ground is frozen 9 months out of the year. The people there are still prejudice and women’s rights are forgotten. They cuss and spit but work hard and they are always ready to help a neighbor. If you have Ca. plates they think you are a fruit or a nut. My family lives there and I love it. I grew up there and we didn’t have drugs but we sure did drink.. The schools are good and autism services could improve. My brother is the president for the Blue Envelope Health Fund and they give tons of $$ away. I checked with the local Autism group there and they were not interested in pursuing the $$ for families who could not afford therapies. The best doctors are in Denver. Co. has the best autism services schools and laws. I would recommend Wyo. or Colorado. My heart is there. Does anyone here have any experience living in Wyoming, Montana, Idaho or Utah? I am looking for a place to live (rural hopefully) in a state that is not big on agriculture so as to avoid the pesticide spraying. Plus, I have been told that only three states are using the blue finale (blue green) weed spray along roads and the above are not included. I want to stay away from golf course areas as well. thanks
Guest guest
Thanks Candyce. Would I be trading in tons of pesticide (weed, mosquito, etc) for petroleum fumes? Ideally, I would love to go to Boulder but I might not be able to afford it (second residence until my husband finds job). Guest guest
Most of the oil fumes are way out in the middle of nowhere. There is almost no pollution. The air is clean and fresh and you can hear the wind in the trees. Summer time is the smell of fresh air and fresh cut grass. The refineries have shut down and the river is clean. Water is tasty and full of natural minerals. As children, we never had any broken bones . Boulder can run into the millions of dollars.. Very expensive.
