Universal Pumping System – 67093S > > Though the package may appear intact, sterility may be compromised due to the defect. As a precaution, Medela is asking that our customers return all unopened stock of these sterile kits. Medela will cover the costs of shipping and provide substitute products for the return of any recalled items. > > Please note that the defect was in the packaging only and none of the kit parts are otherwise affected. There have been no complaints or reported safety incidents resulting from the packaging defect. We are issuing this voluntary recall as a precaution. This recall does not affect Medela breastpumps. > > If you have one of these kits, please return them to the place of purchase. If you received a recall notification from us, please follow the instructions enclosed. > > This recall only pertains to unopened product. There is no need to return the product if it has been opened and used. Once the kit has been opened and used for the first time, you should follow the instructions for further use that are included with the kit. > > Medela has set-up a dedicated call center to handle any questions you may have.
