You are entitled to your opinion but you really could have chosen a more

respectful way of expressing it.

I agree, Sandy...I got this yucky feeling in the pit of my stomach. We

all make mistakes ... we all state our opinions strongly...and we do

so, here, without hearing vocal inflections or seeing facial

expressions. This makes what we say easy to misinterpret or

misunderstand.

Tara, I'm sorry you were hurt. I've been hurt here before and

considered not posting anymore. I am glad I stayed onboard. I hope

you decide to stay...we've valued your presence here, but I also hope

you find better ways to cope with your feelings and how you express

them when conflict arises...and it will, because it's a part of life

and relating to others.

Barbara, you have been a huge source of support to the folks in this

groups. You have given so much of yourself to all of us here. I am

grateful you're here and a part of my life.

Peace to all of you,

F

This looks like a personal message to Barb from Tara and should have been

sent to Barb via private email rather than subjecting the entire list to

this very personal attack.

This, my friends, was a flame. It's OK to disagree with people. That's

what makes the world go round, and we've had disagreements here before. But

to specifically tell a person that their way of thinking is selfish and to

counter with a very childish " you suck " is a flame. I don't think flaming

is allowed on this list; and if that's the way Tara handles things when she

doesn't agree with someone, she's not going to last very long on the

internet. She could have very simply voiced her disagreement with Barb,

and even indicated that it hurt her in some way, without getting nasty and

personal.

We don't need that kind of nastiness here.

I agree with you 100% Sandy. This group is wonderful and conflicts are a

natural part of life so of course they will occur in this group also. They

just need to be dealt with in a mature way. I'm also grateful for this group

and everyone in it. Thank-You !!
