Guest guest
My 7 yr old daughter was recently diagnosed with asthma and her doctor wants to put her on Singulair. I looking it up and there are many cases in which it has caused serious mood and behavioral swings in children. I called the pharmacy to ask and they said that Merck makes it and that less than .5% of people in the tests described these symptoms. I asked her where she was reading that and she said " Clinical Pharmacology. " When I questioned who puts out the information, she replied it, " It is the gold standard of pharmaceutical information. " Their website is www.goldstandard.com. I am just curious if anyone has any experience with Singulair for asthma in children. And/or also, is " Clinical Pharmacology " information put out by Big Pharma? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! - Kerri
