Guest guest
All, Attached is an URGENT Action Alert (both .doc and .pdf files). Please read it, share it with everyone who knows that we need to get mercury out of drugs, and help CoMeD in any manner that you are able. For those who do not get attachments, the text version of this Action Alert is as follows: Help the Fight for Safer Vaccines CoMeD is engaged in an unequal struggle with the federal government. This struggle seeks to have the federal courts compel federal administrators to comply with the law and ban all use of Thimerosal (49.55% mercury by weight) and other mercury compounds in the manufacture of any component of a vaccine or other drug product UNLESS the nominal level of mercury in a single dose of the vaccine or other drug is proven " sufficiently nontoxic … " , as specified by law, by the manufacturer's conducting all of the toxicity studies appropriate to prove nontoxicity to the most susceptible to whom a dose may be given. If you want to stop the use of Thimerosal and all other mercury compounds in the manufacture of all US-FDA approved vaccines, monoclonal antibody drugs, and other drug products, please give whatever you can. On June 29, 2010, the federal district court judge in 1:2009cv-00015, CoMeD, Inc et al. v. Sec. of HHS and Commissioner of the FDA (CoMeD), issued his memorandum opinion in support of his order dismissing our lawsuit, which is seeking to require the government to comply with the law concerning the approval of Thimerosal-preserved vaccines and the statute requiring vaccines to be made safer. To fight this turn of events by appealing this judge's memorandum opinion and order, we need your help in raising as much money as we can, starting with an interim goal of raising US $50,000.00 by the end of July 2010. We urgently need this money to fund our legal appeal efforts in the CoMeD lawsuit. Though times are tough and money is scarce, please contribute any amount that you can as soon as possible and, if able, continue to contribute small amounts whenever you can. Since CoMeD, Inc. is a 501©(3) corporation, any money you contribute should be a tax- deductible contribution on your US federal tax return. For small contributions, you can use the PayPal link on the CoMeD website: http://www.Mercury-freeDrugs.org or you can mail your contributions by check or money order in US dollars and made payable to CoMeD, Inc., to: CoMeD, Inc. 14 Redgate Court Silver Spring, MD 20905-5726 USA Please contribute as much as you can and as often as you can. If you have any questions about this effort, please call or and speak with CoMeD's Secretary and Science Advisor, G. King, PhD. If your contribution is large (> = US$ 250.00), please send it by mail so that CoMeD can issue you a written receipt.
