Guest guest
I know many people that have no problems with the CSM as long as you follow the protocol. I always took Milk of Magnesia at night. 1 or 2 tsp. I had to experiment what worked. I took it every night without fail and never had any problem with constipation. We are all different but it worked well for me and I had results within 2 weeks. Brain fog was the first to improve then the stiffness and joint pain began to fade. Took many months but I NEVER missed a dose and took it according to Dr. Shoemaker's directions. 1. On an empty stomach, take one scoop of CSM (9 grams), mix with water, or juice, 4-6 oz 2. Stir well and swallow. Add more liquid, repeat 1 above until done. 3. Drink an extra 4-6 oz of liquid 4. After 30 minutes, you may eat or take meds (wait at least 2 hours before taking thyroxine, digitalis, theophylline, coumadin and others, ask your doctor for information) 5. Take CSM 4 times a day! 6. If you eat first, wait at least 60 minutes before taking your next CSM 7. Reflux, constipation, bloating and bowel distress are to be expected 8. Use acid blocking medications as needed 9. Use sorbitol, 70% solutions, 1 TBSP 3-4 times a day to relieve constipation. I used Milk of Magnesia <WBR<WBR I just went to Dr.Lieberman & have been looking into a sauna at a club, etc. in my area to detox. Dr. L's gal said to look for a " dry heat " sauna....not steam or moist heat & ask how they clean them. I found one that said they use only mild soap & water to clean them as using bleach, etc. would damage the wood. I did get a script from Dr. L for CSM, altho he says most patient's don't tolerate it at all as it is so constipating. I wanted to give it a try anyway but will also do his sauna protocol. Hope that helps.
Guest guest
Peggy, Ask your doc about Whelcol instead of CSM. Shoemaker gave me bolth and they do the same he says but it is in pill form and does not have the same side affects. Guest guest
Whelcol works like CSM but I don't think it is as effective but it is better than none. You can also take Whelcol with food!
