Guest guest
My 6 yr old had another pdoc and therapist apt this week. Despite his rages the pdoc is not changing meds and is now seeing him every 2 months and I barely had time to talk. I was told many things need to be worked on in therapy. Well, that's great but I have almost no clue what they do in therapy. I have been making detailed daily logs for his therapist so she knows what goes on during the week at home. Last week I ran out of forms and told her I didn't have one-she just shrugged, when I tried to fill her in about his week she seemed distracted (we were in the hallway, she didn't even offer me an office), then when she brought him back to the waiting room I didn't even get any info on what they did! Now I would have already left the place except that he likes her and is very willing to go there. He had a fairly good week considering it was break week and a change in routine but he has good stretches that always end and very bad strtches so it is hard to gauge if this is an improvement. What do I say to this woman? I need to know what they do so I can work with him at home and i feel she needs to know about his week so she can help him. It is very frustrating. No one in that office seems interested in communicating with me-the mom!
