Guest guest
My friend's grandmother, who is in excellent health, is 92 years old and was recently diagnosed with Chordoma of the lower spine. She did a little on line research and can email the information she found on the subject. One source has this to say, “The prevailing theory is that in chordomas the notochord fails to degenerate and then undergoes malignant transformation. The major failing of this theory is that normal notochord remnants have never been observed.†Her grandmother gets flu vaccinations every year. She wonder if a contaminant or part of the adjuvant has triggered this chordoma. Does anyone have any thoughts on the origins or approaches to treatment for this condition? Thanks, Liz P
