Guest guest
Yesterday I heard (via Facebook) that an old friend from high school just passed away. Shortly after high school, he was in a car accident and was paralyzed from the waist down. In spite of this he led a very self-sufficient life, lived alone, drove himself around in a specially equipped van, worked out, had lots of girlfriends and was a really healthy and happy person. I was shocked to hear of his death and wondered if he was ill or if it was perhaps an injury or accident. I was informed that he died of " complications of pneumonia " . I became very suspicious and after making inquiries with family members, I found out that he had gotten a flu shot and pneumococcus shot a few days before he died. Of course, no one attributes his death to the vaccines. His paraplegic status just made him " high risk " . This makes me so mad, it's sickening.
