Guest guest
A friend of mine told me on Sunday that he used to take wellbutrin and that he had to stop taking it because it kept increasing his anger. Another male said he had the same experience. Both males are on the high functioning end of the autism spectrum, so I don't know whether autistic people have a different chemical makeup than non-autistic people, so I was wondering whether anyone here who has been on wellbutrin for a while has had any problems with increased anger. Here's my theory: people on the autism spectrum tend to be much more sensitive to sensory stimuli. If wellbutrin increases the ability to feel sensations, then the autistic person might be more likely to get more overwhelmed more easily on wellbutrin and then have an angry outburst (which is a common reaction for an overwhelmed autistic person). -- the Dreamer
