Guest guest
This topic hasn't been addressed that I can find since August of 2005. I'm wondering if anybody has any updated knowledge vis-a-vis fillers. I've had Sculptra/Newfill reconstruction of my face by Dr. Pat McNamara in Houston that in a word, changed my life. A trip to Dr. Serra to get something to sit on again is top on my wish list. But recently, sort of suddenly my shoes feel like I jumped on concrete. I did buy some insoles which help. But like the pillow on my chair they fall far short of normal function. Does anyone know of a filler working for plantar restoration? Guest guest
I can't imagine using a filler on the foot pads. The amount of stress that the feet endure, from both your body weight plus the force of landing the foot when walking or running, would probably be beyond the capabilities of any synthetic materials. I certainly wouldn't want to be the first to try whatever material they come up with. In the meantime, I use gel insole inserts or Spenco foam rubber insoles. Walking barefoot is tough. For padding around the house, I love the Croc flip-flops, which are a softer rubber than most flip-flops and fit my bony feet better. wrote: This topic hasn't been addressed that I can find since August of 2005.I'm wondering if anybody has any updated knowledge vis-a-vis fillers.I've had Sculptra/Newfill reconstruction of my face by Dr. Pat McNamara in Houston that in a word, changed my life.A trip to Dr. Serra to get something to sit on again is top on my wish list. Guest guest
Does anyone know of a filler working for plantar restoration? I have had that problem for over 5 years. I have not found any fillers other than some foot drs. injecting the ball of the foot with fat. I saw it done on TV and it was enough to scare me LOL. I am presently on morphine 3 x a day 15 mg to kill the pain and keep on walking but it beats the alternative to laying in bed and not having a life. And no the morphine does not get me high or make me spacey it only allows me to have a normal life. I do take Oxycodone 5 mg for break thru pain if I am on my feet for a long period of time but my love understands my foot problems and will allow me to rest when we are out and about. And life is good and liveable. I keep morphine and oxycodone on me at all times just to be on the safe side. FRANK
Guest guest
For the short run try thick socks and over sized shoes helps too like a 1/2 size bigger then usual. And try an arch support, I find them more help full then a insoles. Hope this help a bit Mark --- wrote: > This topic hasn't been addressed that I can find > since August of 2005. > I'm wondering if anybody has any updated knowledge > vis-a-vis fillers. > I've had Sculptra/Newfill reconstruction of my face > by Dr. Pat > McNamara in Houston that in a word, changed my life. > A trip to Dr. Serra to get something to sit on again > is top on my wish > list. > But recently, sort of suddenly my shoes feel like I > jumped on > concrete.
