Guest guest
I don't know if it's because school has been out since the end of May or it's because of 's issues and Kenny doing everything does. I am just about at my wits end and don't know what to do with these kids. I wish there were summer programs that I could afford for them to go to and that had scholarships for my area, but there isn't and/or they don't. I have been getting very little sleep lately which makes me a bit more cranky and irritable. I know it'll get better once they are back in school, but for right now I wish I could run away sometimes. I love my boys, but with their issues I feel like my nerves are just about shot. My respite care should kick in any day now. They say when the lady has her training finished and she has visited with my boys in my home a few times before she actually stays with them by herself. I have filed with the class action suit against the company for Paxil because I take it and I feel it fits my category. There is no suicide or violence, but the Paxil does not seem to be helping my anxiety or depression at all. The new psych that is seeing is going to be working with me soon and said that he will possibly be changing my meds, so hopefully that will help. s melt downs and his ADHD and PDD are getting on my nerves lately and I just want to find something that will work for him because it doesn't seem that the meds that he is on are helping at all. I hate having to bribe him to be good cause sometimes that don't even help. Had to get it off my chest, Carissa Make every month Autism Awareness Month. Guest guest
Carissa, ~tight squeeze~ First, take a time out and several deep breaths. We have all been where you now find yourself... Though you may not be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, it is there... You just have yet to turn the corner!!! ~another hug~ I am really hoping the new psyc can help you both and will pray for peace, guidance, and healing. I am so glad that you have this board on which to vent. Isn't it wonderful that we don't have to face these situations alone??? ~hugs~ Rabecca
Guest guest
Yes, and I am feeling so blessed that I am not being judged because I have been so negative lately. Thanks for the hugs, I really need them these days. carissa Make every month Autism Awareness Month. Guest guest
Hi Carissa... You said: I have filed with the class action suit against the company for Paxil because I take it and I feel it fits my category. There is no suicide or violence, but the Paxil does not seem to be helping my anxiety or depression at all. We had a bad experience with paxil and Beth about 2 years ago....she became more aggressive....more depressed...ran away and ended up in a behavioral hospital for 2 weeks. I wouldn't go near it again....although for some, it is helpful, I've heard. Hang in there. August is here....so it's only a matter of weeks...and then days.....until school starts. I can't wait, either! maralee
