: Unvaccinated kids healthier than vaccinated !

Another article on the amazing health of unvaccinated children.

Being 68, my childhood friends and I only had a smallpox vaccination at age 5 so we had all the childhood diseases. We had chickenpox, mumps (before puberty so no sterility - but is the vaccination booster shot now a factor for infertile men?). We had regular measles and German measles (before pregnancy so we had permanent immunity with no risk to our offspring - but is the vaccination now a factor in birth defects since the female child's eggs are exposed in a different way from having the disease - thus the need for boosters rather than lifetime immunity?). I did not know of any cases of tetanus, diphtheria, pneumonia or small pox in our schools. I did not know anyone with asthma or eczema.

The childhood diseases were not seen as anything to be concerned about. When we were sick, we stayed home with our Moms. The childhood diseases happened after one was vaccinated and started school. Infants did not seem to get these illnesses but perhaps they were more protected since most were breastfed (immunity coming from mother's milk, from a mother who had natural immunity, as there was no formula) and did not leave the house until the age of 4 months. Caesarian sections were extremely rare and there were no fetal monitors. At the same time, there was very little processed food, no fast food, and no custom of eating outside the home as a regular occurrence - rather the exception as an unnecessary expense and inconvenient.

The only concern was polio, and there again, even then, conventional doctors had no access to the remedies outside their training.

It occurs to me that vaccines are an example of the failure of modern medicine to embrace the treatments that are effective for the diseases immunized against. Without homeopathy, herbal medicine, hydrotherapy, vitamin and mineral supplements, chiropractic, sunlight, exercise, pure water, and fresh organic fruits and vegetables, these diseases become a threat. Gone or the days when a mother would send one of many children to the herb store with a dollar and a description of the current family illness as related to me by a neighbor in his 80's many years ago. His family lived in Philadelphia in Olney, were I grew up and I knew the store. With his dollar, he purchased a mix of herbs chosen by the store owner and placed in a small brown paper bag. His mother made strong tea from the contents of the bag and dosed all 8 children several times - so the sick ones got well and the others stayed healthy.

Without natural family centered or holistic professional methods of handling illness - of course vaccination must become the automatic answer - but this has created a public health problem of enormous proportions that is protected and subsidized by the federal government. The vaccine manufacturers are not liable for any problems following a vaccination - that is handled in an administrative way by the federal government and paid for by your taxes. The criteria for establishing vaccine injury are not the result of scientific studies and do not include long term damage. Research into the impact of particular vaccines, method of delivery, and combinations of vaccines measures only short term effects. No studies (other than those below) routinely compare vaccinated with completely unvaccinated children.

Since childhood illness is not handled by stay at home parents and there are no treatments like homeopathy within conventional care, vaccination prevents parents from losing days from work. Public pressure to conform disguises private risk for unrealized public benefit because childhood diseases were almost gone prior to their vaccination development, and vaccination (unlike having the disease) does not provide secure or lifetime protection to the individual. Even when herd immunity is accomplished, about 80% of those who get sick in an outbreak will be those already vaccinated. The need for booster shots reveals that immunization uses a different pathway than the natural lifetime immunization produced from having the disease itself.

What is the impact of our vaccination schedule on autism, infertility, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, asthma, ear infections, eczema, seizures, etc.? We will never know. As indicated by the autism epidemic, which began when adults who were heavily vaccinated began having their children, and when manufacturers began using fetal tissue to grow the germs, no one really cares. Where is the public hysteria about the growing percent of children who develop autism? Can we provide services to 1 in 100 children without massive changes in public priorities? Isn't action required to stop and reverse this tidal wave by eliminating every possible harmful cause - rather than await scientific proof that exactly this or that is responsible? Compare the reaction to the possibility of a swine/avian flu epidemic, the mass mobilization, the messages about hand washing - to the government's reaction to the escalation of autism.

Where medical treatment may be the cause of the problem, there is silence. Even where medical treatment is known to be the cause of the problem, 700,000 deaths per year from conventional medical treatment according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there is silence. As a population, we have been schooled to believe that "alternative treatments" are dangerous - yet each year the deaths from "alternatives" are from zero to 100. Believing that "alternatives" are dangerous, and that "treatment" is essential, we listen without alarm to the drug advertisements between our TV shows. The ads show freedom from care due to this drug or that. After lulling us into pliability, the impact of the drugs rolls out in a conversational tone - monitor with blood work, sudden diarrhea, permanent muscle problems, fatal asthma, cancer - and no mention that the drug companies will not be paying for this extra care - society will be paying and suffering and dying.

As long as we believe that health is not natural, we will suffer and die from artificial treatments as the price for social acceptance.

Dear Family,

As a 65-year-old, I concur with " how things were "

in the U.S. in the 1940s and 1950s when I was

growing up in Houston, TX -- although trials were

being conducted for the DTP shot where I was

growing up.

However, the reality is that, based on the last

US-wide survey of our children's health, 25+ % of

our children now have a " lifetime " chronic illness

with > 1 in 9 having asthma.

Thus, the question is not:

" Can we provide services to 1 in 100 children

without massive changes in public priorities? "

but rather the CRUCIAL questions are:

1. " Can we afford to continue providing ever-increasing

health services to greater than the 1 in 4 children

who have a serious chronic illness today? "

2. " How will the adults of tomorrow, where > 1 in 4

will have a chronic illness or worse, be able to

support paying for all of their chronically ill

children when, UNLESS the current trend stops,

more than 1 child in 3 will have a lifetime chronic

illess?

3. " Given the virtual absence of chronic childhood

illnesses in the almost-never-vaccinated

populations (e.g., the Old Order Amish, and

those in Dr Eisenstein's Home Health Practice)

as compared to the fully vaccinated population

groups, why have we NOT already suspended ALL

the vaccination programs for diseases that are

NOT both:

a. highly infectious (infects more than 20% of

those who are exposed) and

b. highly lethal (kills or seriously maims

at least 1 child in 20 children who are

exposed to them), and

specifically those diseases that are:

c. RARELY severe (causes severe adverse effects

in less than 1 child in 100 who are infected

with the these diseases) and

d. SELDOM lethal (causes deaths in less than 1

in 1,000 who contract the disease) to the

never-vaccinated children who contract said

diseases? "

Hopefully, these comments will help others to understand

the growing magnitude of the " healthcare " problems to

which some of our current vaccination programs seem to

be contributing.

The [drug] ads show freedom from care due to this drug or that. After lulling us into pliability, And no-one seems to realize that the drugs may provide "freedom from care" only in the sense of mainly just amelioration of symptoms of a particular disease or "condition" (fibromyalgia being an example here - no-one cares about the Lowe hypothesis that FM is actually hypothyroidism and hypometabolism, pushed over some biological edge). In this sense, they literally provide the "freedom not to care". But the drugs themselves are a form of "care"! No-one seems to care (sic) about that - that while you may not have to put up with muscle pain from whatever cause by taking an Aleve (every day), you still have to take the Aleve. We seem to see drugs as somehow "freeing us" from.. I don't know what. But at the same time, we are more and more dependent on those very drugs. This isn't "freedom", it's medical slavery.As long as we believe that health is not natural, we will suffer and die from artificial treatments as the price for social acceptance. And yet somehow humans managed to survive for millions of years.. Amazing that there are any of us around at all!Jim
