The CDC now concedes that its scientific credibility has suffered a blow. It blames the problem largely on poor writing in the report. The CDC authored a report saying basically that there was nothing to worry about... At a House hearing Thursday morning, investigators reported the finding was "scientifically indefensible," in part because all the people the CDC looked at were drinking BOTTLED water.
