Very cute indeed. Agree totally with Kishore.

PS:Cute is a good example of how a shortened form of a word can take on a life

of its own, developing a sense that dissociates it from the longer word from

which it was derived. Cute was originally a shortened form of acute in the sense

" keenly perceptive or discerning, shrewd. " In this sense cute is first recorded

in a dictionary published in 1731. Probably cute came to be used as a term of

approbation for things demonstrating acuteness, and so it went on to develop its

own sense of " pretty, fetching. " [souce: www.dictionary.com]

Very nice picture Ravin.

Thanks for sharing.

To me it is so joyous to see each other's family pictures.

I am still struggling with my scanner-copier-printer combo - it won't behave.

Hopefully soon,

Ashok 1984 ;))

Dear SP Sir, Kishore, Malini, Charusmita, Nilanjana,

Nandana is cute, she is a very obedient child and she cares about

everyone/everything around her.

Yesterday we discovered 4 abandoned Magpie chicks in our garden, she is

currently taking care of them in her spare time, feeding, cleaning, etc. It

was a cat, probably, that ate their mom.

As far as her looks are concerned (apart from your dig at me Malini :-D,

unless you always thought I looked cute, but never told me...), she looks

like my mother did as a kid (my mom is now 78 years old, still, some

features are visibly similar).

Nayantara (the elder daughter) looks like me (you can see us all on the

photos section of our Yahoo! Group). Unfortunately none of the two kids look

like their mother :-(

SP sir, " cute " is aphetic " acute " , but I got the point, she is cute :-)

Thank you all,

Ravin '82

Dear Prabha,

That is an observation I have made too, but in the elderly couples.

I can imagine Skand and Prabha looking alike... who gets darker/fairer?

:-D

Me and my computer!! Saw the photo just now. What a perfect Meera-Nandana's face

exudes radiance and serenity. You must be a proud father (and an anxious one in

the near future!!).
